Equine Reproduction

At Yarra Ranges Animal Hospital we can help plan your breeding management, treat and guide you through the breeding season and aid in foaling and foal management.

Our services include:

  • Pre- breeding advice
  • Follicle tests of your mare
  • Stallion management including semen collection, semen evaluation and handling
  • Artificial Insemination
  • Pregnancy diagnosis/scans
  • Pre- and post foaling advice
  • Emergency treatment

  • Foal medicine including IgG tests, plasma transfusions and weaning advice (nutrition, vaccinations, geldings)
