The Yarra Ranges Animal Hospital commenced as a Veterinary Practice in 1984, operating as Yarra View Veterinary Clinic and originally based at Yarra Glen. The Practice then principally serviced the Large Animals of the Yarra Valley and had a minor Small Animal component.
 
The Practice then expanded to Lilydale and in 1999 was redeveloped to its present Hospital status and renamed the Yarra Ranges Animal Hospital. The Hospital has become one of the most modern Veterinary Hospitals in Australia.
 
The original Practice still operates to service the people of Yarra Glen for consultations and pet care purchases.
